I am a Certified Peer Recovery Specialist who is passionate about helping individuals navigaterecovery and build meaningful lives. Drawing from both professional training and lived experience, Iwork to empower clients through advocacy, encouragement, and support.

Recovery didn't just change my life—it introduced me to the person I was always meant to become. 13 years ago, I walked into Walden Sierra as a client searching for hope. Recovery gave me more than sobriety, it gave me purpose. I learned that real change begins when we separate from the people, places, behaviors, and mindsets that keep us trapped and choose to elevate our thoughts, actions, and future.

As my journey continued, Pyramid Healthcare became an important part of that growth, providing me with the opportunity to strengthen my recovery while transforming my lived experience into a life of service. What started as a personal journey evolved into a professional calling.

For 11 years, I have served as a Recovery Coach, and today I am honored to serve as an Intensive Outpatient (IOP) Counselor at the St. Mary's County Rehabilitation and Detention Center. My passion is helping individuals facing addiction, mental health challenges, and incarceration recognize that recovery is possible, healing is real, and no past is too broken to build a better future.

I believe recovery is more than overcoming addiction—it's about rediscovering who you were created to be. 

I believe that each day is an opportunity to be grow and uplift others. I’m grateful that I have a role in which I can share pathways to a better quality of life. This is both a privilege and great responsibility that I take seriously.

I am deeply committed to giving back to the community and find fulfillment in empowering others to overcome obstacles and build a stronger future.

Outside of work, I enjoy spending quality time with my children and family. I value perseverance, resilience, and maintain a positive outlook through life’s challenges.
