Meet the Team

Committed to Serving the Community

Director

Welcome to our network of growth and healing!  I thank this group of colleagues, our beloved Southern Maryland community, and all those who make these services possible.   I am always learning and growing and hope to do so with you!

Youth Peer Support Specialist Supervisor/ Vocational Coordinator

Here at the Cove I assume the role of the Youth Recovery Support Supervisor. I enjoy working with youth in the community and have been doing so for 9 years now. I started as a teacher at an alternative school and soon after transferred my attention to working with at risk youth as well as youth who experience mental health challenges. I enjoy sports and music and encourage creativity and expression in all of it's forms of art whether it be drawing, writing stories, or dancing or anything in between. I take pride in building rapport with our youth in order for both of us to get the best possible experience from our one on one sessions and our mentor groups. The youth here at the Cove can be confident in knowing that Mr. Roy will give them truthful and transparent conversations even if it means challenging them to make a change that is conducive to them tackling struggles they may encounter in the every day life of being a young adult.

Youth Peer Support Specialist/ YAPRS Coordinator

Hello, my name Michelle Williams. I am a Youth Mentor & the Family and Youth Coach, here at the Cove. I genuinely enjoy reminding and encouraging the Youth and families on how to live their best authentic lives. My motto is “When you’re smiling the World smiles back!” and it is my pleasure to assist you and your youth; by starting with a simple wholehearted welcoming smile.

Youth Mentor/ Education Coordinator

At The Cove, I am a Youth Mentor and the Education Coordinator. I became a youth mentor to help guide young people through some of the most challenging years of adolescents. I place a big value on education and stress the importance of balancing school with after school fun. As the coordinator for educational activities at The Cove, I work to create engaging spaces for our young people to learn. I want to be a safe person for teens to talk to, ask questions and learn life skills. In my free time I enjoy, being active, watching T.V. shows, and spending time with my cat. Youth at The Cove know that this is a safe space for them to grow and learn many skills as a young adult.

Youth Mentor/ Recreation Coordinator

Hello, my name is Alexus Fenwick. I have been with Pyramid for almost a year. I have lived in St. Mary’s county my whole life, and have taken a great interest in helping the community as much as I can. My goal is to help where I can for the future betterment of all.
